The California Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P) provides students with access to additional learning and enrichment opportunities beyond the traditional school day. The program is designed to support students' academic, social, emotional, and physical development through engaging, hands-on activities in a safe and supportive environment.

ELO-P is available to eligible students in Transitional Kindergarten through sixth grade. Priority is given to unduplicated pupils, including students who are English learners, eligible for free or reduced-price meals, or foster youth, as well as students experiencing homelessness and other students identified by the district based on available program capacity.

The goal of ELO-P is to provide students with meaningful opportunities to learn, explore, build relationships, and develop new skills while supporting families with expanded access to student programming.
