Welcome to the 2023 -24 school year. The Vista de Las Cruces staff have been busily working to prepare for the arrival of students. We hope you are as excited as we are for the start of the year!

Important Dates:

• August 17th- First Day of School!

• August 24th- Back to School Night

School Hours:

• Learning begins promptly at 8:25 am

• Mon-Thursday dismissal 2:45 pm

• Fridays are early dismissal with class ending at 1:50 pm (Teachers will collaborate on campus after students are dismissed.)

Office Hours:

• 7:45 am - 4:15 pm

To truly get the most out of the Vista experience, we ask that you assist us with the following:

• Attend school daily

• Arrive on-time and be ready to learn when classes start

• Read every day. Twenty (20) to thirty (30) minutes a day has been proven to improve student performance. If your child cannot read yet, read to your child. It’s a wonderful opportunity to have a special time with your child.

Meals

• Breakfast a& Lunch are available for ALL students daily!

• Breakfast is served daily from 7:55 a.m. - 8:15 a.m.

*Applications are available in the school office for free and reduced lunch for families who believe they may qualify.

After School Programming

• We will continue our after school programming this year. The program will begin on Monday, August 21st.
